Exhibition on Annunciation «ECCOMI». DAL TURBAMENTO ALLA GIOIA

INAUGURATION
23 November 2017, 6.15 p.m. Inauguration of the exhibition «Eccomi». Dal turbamento alla gioia («Here am I». From the disturbance to the joy), by Alessandro Rossi and Andrea Dall’Asta SJ. Some paintings from 16th to 20th century depicting the Annunciation offer an occasion to reflect on one of the most evocative and poetic iconography of Christian art. 
On display works by Fiammenghino, born Giovan Mauro della Rovere, Carlo Maratta, Giovanni Stanchi, Mario Sironi and others.
